I drove down to Ebbsfleet this afternoon. The place is seriously spooky. There was hardly any evidence of life.
I couldn't resist taking a few photos, which caught the attention of one or two security types. They sauntered over, keeping a wary eye on me, and then decided that I was just some ditsy blonde, and left me to it.
Finally, some evidence that life exists in Ebbsfleet... cars!

What is Ebbsfleet? I thought it was the name of a flying bishop of the C of E.
It's a new station in Kent at which the Eurostar trains to Paris and Bruges stop.
I believe there is also a small town of that name...
;-)
I read up on it online. It seems it is not completed yet (at least the train part) - is that correct?
So - how come it's empty?
