Vegetables...

I do not like vegetables. I very rarely eat them: the exceptions are potatoes, especially chipped and deep-fried. I heard a report this evening that, due to some unseasonably wet weather (or was it dry weather? I seem to recall a drought warning at some point...) there is likely to be a sprout shortage. This will cause Fr. Tim some unhappy moments, no doubt, as he seems to like the vile vegetable, but I think I shall be able to restrain my own disappointment...

Broccoli is right there with the sprouts, in my opinion. However, it would appear that there is an alternative festive use to which the vegetable can be put, according to Fr. Justin...

I don't like carrots either. Unless they're grated and smothered in cake...

When I was a child the only vegetable I ate were peas, that's it!

Now I like cauliflower, cabbage, asparagus, beans.

I cant stand brussel sprouts, spinach, broccoli or carrots(including carrot cake).

Each to their own I suppose...but brussels sprouts..BARF! LOL

Peace, JOY & Merry Christmas:)

I never knew anyone who didn't like broccoli!

(However, in our house, Brussels sprouts are a dividing line. I hate them, he loves them. So we never have them.)

Sprouts are nothing but ***tard cabbages. I'm with you on the carrots and I can't abide ANY bean. .... save for some reason Wendy's chili. (and ONLY Wendy's chili.) Broccoli I like ONLY if it's steamed with a lot of butter, or RAW dipped in blue cheese stuff I shouldn't really have. Spinach is good only if raw and with a lot of bacon dressing. Potatoes do rule. Preferably baked and with butter salt, sour cream and chives. Bacon bits don't hurt either

I love vegetables. Brussels Sprouts, however, are the tool of the devil, in my opinion. Yuk!! I'll eat all others, though, including broccoli. Actually, I'll even eat sprouts if I'm served them. (When I was a kid, there was no turning down food for something else.)
