"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." The Imitation of Christ
I was talking to my mother on Saturday and telling her how I'd been reading about the Pope's activities. She asked, "When does he leave?" "Sunday, I think" "Oh, he'll be glad to sleep in his own bed again!" :)
I think I would be about dead from sustained over-excitement today if I were in England! As it is, I'm thousands of miles away and I still feel a little dimmed. What a marvelous event.
