My word, That's beautiful.
Congratulations to the P.P. or whoever ...
It is beautiful. You'd have never known it was the Assumption in my parish yesterday, aside from the fact we had a Mass.
I this altar in your house/flat?
It is ravishing and worthy of Our Blessed Lady. Congratulations.
Anne - no such luck! It's the Lady Altar in my parish (we have Mass according to the Missal of Blessed John XXIII at it every Saturday morning)
It was specially decorated for the Feast day - check out my profile picture to see what it looks like normally.
The marble for the altar was rescued by my PP from a wreckovation at the next-door parish: they were going to rip out the marble from the High Altar and throw it away, so Fr Tim offered to get a stonemason from our parish to take it away for free...
;-)
What?! Old rite masses?!!
Grrrr...

In light of our Archbishop's warm welcome of the Holy Father's Motu Proprio I feel that you are posting these beautiful pictures and news of traditional Masses just to make us poor Jocks drool over our keyboards...
