"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." The Imitation of Christ

Uh Oh...
Outright hostilities appear to have ceased, mainly because the two kittens have set up a coalition to defeat my toes. Skirmishes are still in evidence, however, and the two of them are currently charging around the flat after each other.
I fully expect to find the flat trashed in the morning. That is assuming they allow me to sleep...
Thanks for the prayers.

They are beautiful! They will bring you much joy (and nibbled toes) -- enjoy! I love seeing their pictures!
Figures they'd unite to try and destroy a common enemy. You don't have a staircase in the house do you? [Move if you do!]
It sounds as if things are going according to plan in the furry world. Now the fun begins.......
Yep, the chasing never ends. The late, great Rocky and his little brother Spike chased each other all their lives together, until Rocky got to be too ill.
That picture of the "mouser" puts me in mind of the time when Spike was still a little kitten, and, walking by the Christmas tree, I was astonished to see a pair of gold eyes staring at me, directly at eye level, from within the tree. Spike is a great big fat cat now, and fortunately not inclined to climb Christmas trees -- how disastrous the results would be.
