We have a duty to fight against evil, we cannot just passively hope it will go away. So, if you are in the UK, write, email or telephone your MP. This site will help you figure out who your MP is if you don't know already.
Try and get to the Rosary Crusade of Reparation on Saturday, October 11th, starting at 1:45pm outside Westminster Cathedral and finishing at the Brompton Oratory at about 5pm.
Alternatively, attend the 1000 Crosses for Life event on Saturday, 18th October. Starting at 1pm from Westminster Cathedral, the procession will be walking across Lambeth bridge, re-crossing the river at Westminster bridge and ending with a mourning ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
And, whether you are in the UK or not, pray for the defeat of this monstrous legislation.

I've just checked my MP's voting-record on these and related issues, and it's pretty obvious that she's very pro-abortion and pro the HFE Bill in general, and is highly unlikely even to consider voting against it (especially as her party isn't allowing it's MPs a free vote anyway).
Do you think it worth writing to an MP in such circumstances? Is there maybe a case for accepting that she and others like her are going to vote in favour of the Bill, but writing to ask them to reject specific amendments, such as the utterly horrific amendments proposed by John Bercow and Evan Harris as described on the Roses and Jessamine blog? http://rosesandjessamine.blogspot.com/2008/09/jail-for-advising-against-abortion.html
We had hoped to travel to London for this very important event.
Sadly our room booking has fallen through.
Nevertheless, our hearts and prayers will be with you. We are going to go to the abortion facility in Liverpool and pray outside tomorrow with a small group of friends.
