Can Somebody Please Explain To Me Why...

...when you happen to be at home, waiting for a delivery (or similar), the stuff invariably shows up at the very end of your chosen delivery slot, whereas, if you are trying to get home in time for a similar delivery, you find that it arrived fifteen minutes before your allocated delivery time...?

(To be fair, the very nice Sainsbury's delivery man was just sitting in his van waiting for me... )

Because you have your deliveries by Popemobile.
Well that is what I thought it was when I first looked at the picture without reading the text.

I work for Sainsburys Online Deliveries, we actually aim to be out and about 15 minutes early before we are supposed to be so in case there is any delays. But obviously, we will wait if we are early and you are not there. (or sometimes deliver to a different customer first if its close by). Ever wonder why we ring when we run early to see if you would have the delivery?

I have to say that I totally LOVE Sainsbury's Online Deliveries... the absolute bliss of not having to fill up a trolley with toilet paper, cat food, washing powder, cleaning materials, etc. etc. is almost indescribable! Shopping can be left for the fun stuff, the "What do I fancy today for a treat?" type stuff!!

Pullenuk, keep up the good work!
