And Fr. Tim has asked all bloggers in sympathy with this campaign to get the word out - "Unleash the power of the Blog."
Oh, and if anyone out there does happen to know Mel Gibson, I'm available for lunch...
"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." The Imitation of Christ

He and his family used to pitch up for Mass at St. James', St. Andrew's every so often so if any reader of this or HoC are St Andrew's students, be on the look-out for Mr. Gibson and ask Fr. Halloran to do the same!
Probaly best to make it an alcohol free lunch as Mr Gibson gets a little fiesty with a drink in him.
Mac, I think it would be best to explain to any new readers that that is NOT a picture of Fr. Tim at the top of this post!!!
Well, actually, Brendan, when Fr. Tim gets going in rant mode...
;-)
God knows there's a need for some good honest Catholic films.
It would be great if Mel Gibson answered the call.
And to the rather spiteful anonymous poster, Mr Gibson is in AA I believe. It's a very difficult thing to go through. God bless anyone who has the courage to work the programme.
I never did tell you that Mel Gibson story did I...
