"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." Happy Christmas...
A little later than anticipated, but still well within the Octave... I would like to wish all my readers a very blessed and joyful Christmas.

May I reciprocate, Mac, and wish you
and the Kitties a Very Happy, Holy,
and Peaceful Christmas.
In addition, you win First Prize
for The Best Oratory in Blogland.
MF, what a lovely, little home-altar you have there.
It's very cosy with the candles (I like the Advent wreath). I assume that the candles help keep the kitties away from exploring the statues...
All best Christmas wishes to you and the kitty-cats.
And a very Merry Christmas to you, Mac, and a blessed New Year to you and the Monsignori!
