Heheheheh... I may actually have achieved something. After my latest post on the destruction of a Marian shrine in China, surprise, surprise... my blog appears to have been blocked in China.
It is possible that it's just a blip, but, according to Sitemeter, I haven't had any visits from China lately...
Check out your own site HERE.

I am blocked too!
So much for greater liberalisation before the Olympics, maybe it is fear of publicity of the impending Papal Letter.
Actually, I've been wondering about that site. Blocking seems to be a very irregular thing. Either they block and unblock at the drop of a hat, or the site's a hoax.
Yes, and here is the really interesting fact. It isn't the Chinese authorities who are blocking you but one of the www 'guardians' such as Googgle or Yahoo.
They have made a pact with the devil. Don't upset China - make money instead.
Or. put another way:
Freedom? Democracy? Free speech? Loads of money? Yes please.
mmm... well I tried my website and it is blocked, and then I tried yahoo and google and they are blocked too...mmm.
I have had had a strange comment on my blog at http://marymagdalen.blogspot.com/2007/06/chinese-to-dynamite-shrine.html
seems a bit like a Chinese Government Official, I notice I am still blocked - how interesting
yes, they seem to block and unblock at will. Very strange,
I don't think they block individual sites so much - just occasionally block all blogspot sites. Jen Ambrose in Shenzhen (http://jenambrose.blogspot.com/) has a post this week saying which sites she isn't able to access.
My blog is not blocked. Neither is my commercial site. H,,....must not be edgy enough. I'm okay with that.
I too am blocked since I linked to the Shrine article. Father Terry
