"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." The Imitation of Christ

A Bit Of A Break...
I'm feeling a bit jaded at the minute, blog-wise, and I haven't had anything much to say for myself ("What's new?" I hear you cry!) so I have decided to take a bit of a blog break.
Understand the feeling completely, Mac - been in a bit of a blog funk for some while - I've been finding the whole process just too time-consuming - but we'll wait for you!
As you're taking a break can I hope to attract some readers to me...?
A long-time silent reader of your blog, I have started a new blog of my own, consisting of reviews of CTS booklets (and occasionally other good Catholic books).

I would be grateful for any publicity, if you think it merits it...
Hi, Mac. Enjoy your well-earned break. Put your feet up. Crack open a bottle of champagne and a huge slab of Belgian chocolate and. . . let Sylvester take over the Blog for the next couple of weeks !!! He can re-name it "Paws For Thought", or something similar. And every Monday evening, he can have a spoof, very funny, dedicated Post highlighting people in strange situations saying funny things !!! Come back refreshed and full of Blogging vigour !!!

Don't worry, we'll still be here when you get back!
I must say I've been feeling a bit like that about blogging myself for quite a while now.
Sometimes, I find it's just accepting that you're not going to try to blog as regularly that gives you the necessary freedom to relax.

Shouldn't that be "Worry, we'll still be here when you get back!"?
(This must be the first timeI've used the sequence !"? in a sentence.)
All the very best Mac, look forward to hearing from you when you re-surface.
Oh Mac, do take care! I'm here if you want to bend my ear...
I'm sure a short break will help to refresh the batteries-school life is so busy at this time of year.
