Tonight saw the Parish Club's celebration of Fr. Tim's Silver Jubilee. Mass beforehand was well-attended (I wasn't actually present for that: having been to Mass in the morning, followed by Adoration and Benediction, and then a Nuptial Mass where I sang the
Ave Maria, I figured that I'd earned some time off!) and there were five visiting priests... two can be seen here with Fr. Tim: Fr. Stephen Dingley on the left and Fr. Michael Cullinan on the right.
The Parish UCM had been working hard all day to prepare refreshments...
The Club had bought Fr. Tim a beautiful chalice and paten, and here you can see Eddie, the Club Chairman, presenting it...
And Fr. Tim appears to be delighted with the present...
The chalice will be blessed tomorrow, after Mass, ready for use on Tuesday (the actual Anniversary of Fr. Tim's Ordination.) I shall do my best to get some more photos...

Thanks for the pics! Do put up more when you have the chance, you got these up before Fr. Tim did.
Heheheheh... I scooped Fr. Tim mainly because he didn't have his camera handy, and I came armed with my snazzy new one.
I usually find that he's posted his photos while I'm still driving back home - major unfair advantage, living at the church as he does!!
Hello Mac. Much as I would have liked to have been there I was travelling back from Spain and missed it. I think you'll find it's Fr Stephen Dingley in the photo. Let me add my Ad multos annos to Fr Tim.
Aaaargghh! Yes, of course it was!! (I had imbibed rather freely, which is my only excuse!!)
All corrected now!
Looks like a lovely occasion!
