"Truly, it is the indescribable sweetness of contemplation which you give to those who love you. In this you have shown the tenderness of your charity, that when I had no being you made me; and when I strayed away from you, you brought me back again to serve you and commanded me to love you." Sporadic Blogging...
I haven't been too well of late, and a couple of days ago I ended up in hospital, for "tests" and observation and what-not.
I'm now back home, waiting for surgery. I'm not on death's door, but blogging will be somewhat sporadic, as the mood (and energy) strikes me.
Mac, I'm asking for wisdom and skill for all those who take care of you --- even the housekeeping personnel at the hospital! I will be praying rosaries for you.
Much love, prayers and best wishes Mac. I'm sure that The Mulier Fortis will live up to her name and give short shrift to any 'bugs and medical woes' that might be trying to put you down! Speedy recovery on the menu for sure.
Reading the many messages on this post, it strikes me how wonderful it is that through these computers of ours so much good can be shared across the world - swift messages that must be a great consolation and indeed joy to anyone that is a bit 'down' at any point in time.
How fortunate indeed we are to be Catholic, because we have such a massive 'extended family'!

You bet. Prayers for you. Have a hot whiskey toddy. It won't make you feel a **** bit better. But you won't care.
[I take it they "observed" you weren't feeling well!]
