Melancholicus has a helpful hint on what not to do... though the picture is just too good to leave it on his blog, so I'm snaffling it here...
My gecko-owning friend also told me that her father had phoned the NHS Swine Flu information line... but all he got was some crackling...

Order, order! I've resisted temptation to put that dreadful gag on my blog since I heard it on Monday, and now I can't believe you've given in (and, it's not as good as the blonde joke anyway)!
What more proof do we need that this 'swine or pig flu' is a load of old tosh!
The old adage " out of the mouths of babes....!", seems to jump out from the screen at you! And bet that little 'un will be absolutely right as rain after Mum or Dad have wiped his nose from piggy slobber! Yuk.
The media are about as clued up on REAL Science as I am about Chinese dialects in outer Mongolia!!! And yet the media can put their pseudo scientific 'spin' on anything and the public believe them! We have such a gullible population that will swallow without question what they are fed in the papers and on the 'telly. Just look at the global warming bull****!
The media (no doubt on 'big brother' orders) love to publish reams and reams on disasters and impending doom and gloom. This is to keep the population on the back foot, always on the defensive and always anxious about the future so that Nanny State can then be seen to always come to the rescue, tell us what to do, when to do it, how to do it and how much it will cost the tax payer! Of course the flip side of the agenda is that of using these scare-monger stories as cover-ups for some greater evil that is covered in about two lines in small print among loads of stuff people never bother reading.
Just because we're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get us!
Doctor Doctor I think I've got swine flu. I've come out in these 'rashe(r)s'!!!
I can't believe the lengths you will go to defeat me in the Snarkiest blog category! I posted this photo on MY blog days ago!
