Something To Smile About...

A little bit of good news... I have just arrived home after a horrible journey on a crowded bus to find two kittens waiting for me inside the house (one has now gone off gallivanting, the other is having a nap on the sofa... it seems that they like to know I'm safely at home before they go off and do their respective things!) and one car waiting for me outside the house, new alternator and new front tyres fitted.

Deo gratias!

(And no, you cynical people, the kitties were not waiting to be fed. There was food in the bowls. The kitties love me... Yes, they do...)

  1. Excellent! Now all you have to do is to make sure you drive in the right direction.

  2. I do drive in the right direction... forwards!

I start off in one place and I end up in another. The fact that I like to take the scenic route is a mere detail...

Thank you for sharing your good news.

You've got two lovely kittens and a damn good mechanic.

  4. What!!! No pictures! Unless I see pictures, I will not believe you!

PS: I am glad you got your car back!

  5. Perhaps by not hearing your car the kittens were a tad disoriented and thought that you'd gone gallivanting again.
Animals do seem to have a built-in timer as they always seem to be around for the daily homecoming.
And, of course they love you. We all love you!

Kitties are sociable creatures. And they do get very attached to people!

  7. Our former vet used to say that cats were always grateful when you did something to help them - dogs were never grateful (in his considerable experience). So I'm quite sure that your cats do love you....in their own way.
