Petition To Support Pope Benedict...

Human Life International have organised a letter of support for the Holy Father, particularly in view of the media onslaught following his courage in speaking up about HIV/AIDS and condoms. The letter reads:

Dear Holy Father,

Please accept our heartfelt love and admiration for your prophetic and courageous proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in season and out of season. We are in deep solidarity with you against the terrible distortions and attacks by condom-promoters in the press and, even more shamefully, in governments.

The Vicar of Christ will always be a sign of contradiction to those blinded by ideology. Your words of compassion and common sense are to be praised highly. Thank you for your witness of hope and love to a world that is increasingly hostile to the truth, especially if it calls into question the foundations of the "Sexual Revolution."

With gratitude,

You can add your signature to the letter by following this link. The form asks for your postal address, but it works without that information.

Twitch of the mantilla to Fr. Anthony Ho.

  2. Easy to sign - even I managed. Thanks for that Mac - a good opportunity for all of us to show the Holy Father how much we love and value him as our pastoral leader and good Shepherd.

St Peter must be proud of him! A worthy Apostolic Successor!

  3. It's amazing how powerful you are when you know what you preach is the truth. God has Papa Benedict covered. 'Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven'.

"No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord" Isaiah 54

If every catholic prayed an Our Father daily for the Pope, the world would change over night.
Mind you if every catholic prayed, the world would be a better place. We can all hope and keep on praying.
