Campaign To Stop Smoking In Church...

It seems that we shall have to ration our use of frankincense during Mass. Servers will have to be given instruction in how to get maximum smoke from minimum grains of the precious stuff.

According to a report in the Telegraph, the number of boswellia trees is expected to drop by half in the next 15 years or so, and the trees are expected to disappear by 2060.

Just for once, global warming hasn't been identified as a cause - it's all due to cattle grazing, fire and insect attacks. Mind you, someone will no doubt point out that all of those causes can be traced back to global warming...

In the meantime, get ready to change the lyrics of that Christmas carol...

  1. Well, indirectly global warming is a cause. The gases given off by the domestic bovine species are a direct cause of the ozone layer hole. So in a roundabout way a nut can conclude that the cattle grazing causes global warming which causes boswellia trees to die.

And that's all IF there is global warming.

Out in the western part of Kansas (and if you're Kansan that means a scene from an old Western - bare open ground for miles) they have snowdrifts of ten feet covering US I-70. The KS Department of Transportation actually closed the highway down out there! The fact that I-70 is closed down by ten feet snowdrifts is enough proof to me that global warming is a hoax.
