I seem to recall spotting the header photo somewhere a while back, but cannot remember where. However, Clare was unwise enough to comment on my blog, so I followed up the links, and wow, she has a blog and a half!! A pro-life home educator, I wonder how she finds time for it all.
Check out her blog, Battlements of Rubies. It's awesome!
*blushing*
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I've actually been enjoying your blog for some time and have you in my Googlereader. Usually I'm reading while dandling a baby on my lap and so my typing is hampered, making commenting tricky.
I thought it was high time I popped my head above the parapet!
Thank you so much for the kind introduction. I just love the Catholic blogging community, and discovering a thriving British presence online is very heartening.
It's also nice to know that, unlike the US bloggers, there is every chance that we Englanders will meet at some point ( in fact I discovered, but after the fact, that you were at St James in Spanish Place when my son Gabriel was confirmed there. I meant to leave you a comment back then but Marie-Aibhlinn was just 3 weeks old at the time and that was just one of many good intentions that fell by the wayside. So, belatedly, thank you for the photos you posted!)
My pleasure... and I really do like your blog.
ReplyDeleteBTW, how does one pronounce "Aibhlinn"?
Yes, this is a frequently asked question!
ReplyDeleteI think some years ago the name Siobhan was similarly foxing.
As in Siobhan, the 'bh' is said as a 'v'. So her name is pronounced 'Aivlinn'.
I posted about the name drama here.
Clare (sorry Mac)
ReplyDeleteWas Gabriel confirmed last time round? Our Charlie was, so if so,w e were there too.
Sorry Ben
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd responded to your question earlier.
Yes, Gabriel was confirmed in October (or was it November?) 2009.
Small world. Wasn't it a lovely day!
