Just A Thought...
...but who's bright idea was it to entrust Bernard Madeoff with all that money?
Wasn't his name a bit of a giveaway?
(And, yes, I know it's spelt "Madoff" but all the BBC news presenters have been saying "made off" so there!)
Hey Mac, Today, so far, you have posted 2 very interesting scandals. Out of curiosity I wonder how many people who are presented with these two scandals would choose the financial one as the more serious. I dare say that maybe around 90% would feel that way. Maybe that's why the world is in the mess it's in.
Well, the today, I guess referred to my time frame. Anyway the 2nd one is, of course, the children's Liturgy or the Liturgy in general. It is a scandal. And that's why so many have left the Church altogether or just stopped going to Mass. I would like to refer you and your readers to, I think, a British web site called "proecclesia". I was just listening to one of the lectures listed on their page by Dr. Wm. Marra, an American, who passed away a few years back. The lecture was about the Liturgy under attack.

Mark - the chap set up some sort of investment scam, a bit like pyramid selling.
