Confused...

I thought Halloween was on the 31st October.  Apparently not, as this little bunch of trick-or-treaters have just crawled out of the woodwork... in full costume, too!

I wonder who the token male is... he really ought not to be allowed out in public, being of unsound mind (probably caused by too many illegal substances... I mean, get a load of the collar on his yellow shirt... not to mention the Dalek fixation... that is just soooooooo sad!)

Twitch of the mantilla to Fr. Z.

  2. Not only is he a man - his hair, glasses and clothing denote him to be a time travelling lecturer from an Open University Physics program circa 1973. This sort of thing should only be shown very late at night on BBC2.

  3. I was shocked to see on the right what seems to be someone imitating my mother - well, she gets everywhere these days. If it was her she would have had something interesting to say, such as, "why don't you stop acting so stupid and go home?"

  5. Mac. Be nice. His wife made him come. She has his testicles in her purse. He was still somehow attached. Though just barely.

BTW, I've been trying to think what would make a good purse for a woman bishop. Do you think your Queen would "miss" the bag/purse
/really-cool-thing they keep her yearly speech to Parliament in? Do you want to ask her or should I? Maybe by dumb luck our letter would get chosen to be looked at by "herself."

  7. Poor old lady on the left; she probably thought she was going for a cream tea! They do look like they are from some fancy dress 1970s rag week parade! Or a scene out of Monty Python. HA HA

  9. Hey guys, leave them Daleks alone. Even they have the right to become Bishops if they want. It's a free world and they've got 'uman rights as much as wot the rest of us 'ave (well, a bit anyways).

PS - can someone from the BBC 'time travelling' department tell me whether Daleks have a male and female gender. If so are there many confused transexual Daleks or even gay and lesbian Daleks????

    I'll stop there I think.....

    As for Bitch-ops - yikes!!!!!!!!

  10. The picture is the best advert I have ever seen for not having women bishops. Sometimes a picture makes a thousand words.

  11. Gem, I think you're mistaken. I think he's trying to get into the good graces of one of the girls playing dress-up.

Is this outside of a Catholic church? I should've thought they'd have tried to win the PRIEST battle before they started fighting the BISHOP one...
