Just Testing...

...I really like bacon at the best of times, but Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are the two times I seem to wake up dreaming about it... Believe me, catfood never looked so appetising as it did this morning!

And I'm not the only one whose thoughts stray... The Curt Jester decided to post a little detachment test for people to check out how well they're doing!

  2. Your photo actually made me crave a BLT. That is not fair! No I am sitting here imagining how good a sandwich would be.

By the way, I need to tag six people so I chose you. Bwhaa Bwhaa(evil laughter.) You don't have to play if you don't want but I still tagged you.;)

The rules are on my site.

I had cheese and eggs and fried tomatoes and mushrooms for breakfast, then some noodles for lunch.

After that, I could just make it to midnight whenupon I marched downstairs and heated up yesterday's chili and ate the lot.

    Good thing about rules.

  4. Meat-I can take it or leave it. But EVERY Friday I struggle to think of what to cook without it! Crazy! I am perfectly capable of cooking fish or veggie-I was a veggie for ages fcol-but Friday seems so stupidly difficult at times.
I've given up the usual; choc and alchohol for Lent. It's because I'm so doo-lally if I did anything different I'd forget.

  5. Mac,

First of all, any recipe that starts with "take a pound of bacon" is worth saving . . .

But I can honestly say, I don't miss meat during Lent. Don't get me wrong, tucking into a lovely medium rare steak is a good thing and proof that God intended us to eat cows because He made them so tasty. Even baby ones.

  6. That bacon sure looks good. I like bacon so much. I sometimes think "Poor piggy" but that thought don't last for long. Not when I think about bacon, ham, parma ham, salami, pork sausages......
