Thank you for the links to the memory jogging...Wow. Thank you for the links to the memory jogging posts.<br />The interview with Christina Odone was eye opening to me. She has a great facility with words which makes her appear ( to my mind) to be more on top of the issue than perhaps she actually is.<br />I thought Fr Burke did an excellent job of putting the plain facts on the table.<br />Paxo did well too I thought. I was glad to see that he didn't try to stitch the priest up as a number of other journalists would have.<br /><br />It's funny to recall all that to mind now because I was away from the church then. But still <br />I remember being very interested, and pleased that a conservative and orthodox cardinal had been elected. Liberal, vapid catholicism had turned me off in the first place. It's either true or it's not.<br /><br />Oh, and LOVELY photographs!<br /><br />( PPS. Good Lord you get a lot of readers!
