When I was in the UK, the law had ...100% right on. When I was in the UK, the law had changed regards organ donations. In days gone by you had to explicitly opt IN to be an organ donor. Not now. Now the government "assumes" you want in...unless you explicitly opt out. The "cute thing?" They don't always wait until you die before they start harvesting your organs. And have fun finding the page on the NHS site to opt out, it's (or was) craftily tucked under the page that says "become an organ donor."
